Resumen
En este artículo se presenta un proyecto, que supone una nueva metodología de aprendizaje mediante el debate escolar. Además de justificar la necesidad de esta forma de aprender, se recoge detalladamente el proceso concreto que el autor ha seguido durante varios cursos en el Colegio Santa Victoria de Córdoba. Se explicitan las competencias educativas que se pueden ver favorecidas con la práctica de esta actividad. En la puesta en práctica de este proyecto, el debate escolar se revela como una potente herramienta para dinamizar la clase y motivar el aprendizaje del alumnado. Otros resultados que se pueden destacar son: pérdida del miedo a exponer en púbico, respeto a las ideas de los demás aunque uno no esté de acuerdo con ellas y un alumnado más ilusionado con una nueva forma de aprender.
Finalmente se indican las dificultades que pueden surgir en el desarrollo del proyecto, así como, algunas sugerencias para resolverlas.
Abstract
This article describes a project which involves a new methodology of learning through school debate. In addition to justify the need for this way of learning, the article shows in detail the specific process the author carried out during several courses in Santa Victoria School (Córdoba). The most distinguished educational skills that can be favored by the practice of different debate activities are explained. In the implementation of this project, the debate school is revealed as a powerful tool to energize the class and motivate students through their learning. Other results that can be highlighted are the loss of fear in oral presentations, the respect for all kind of ideas exposed and more eager students with this new way of learning.
Finally, the article indicates the difficulties that may arise in the development of the project and some suggestions to solve them.
